Outdoor Training

9.1 Outdoor training

A shared experience is the very best vehicle to successful teamwork and interaction.  When a team faces challenges, our training ensures development progress is rapid.  Individuals cannot hide from shared responsibility, themselves or their team.  They have to face the consequences of their group’s decisions.

We aim to precipitate skills which otherwise remain hidden.  We developed group trust, encourage openness, strong team interdependence and improved communication.  What would previously have seemed impossible can be achieved.

Exercises in planning meetings and review meetings draw out the key learning points for individuals and groups.  Videotape reviews highlight and analyse performance and various behaviour models are considered. All participants leave the course with personal Action Plans to help them transfer the learning from the course to the workplace.

Outdoor training programmes are offered at a choice of locations with a variety of accommodation types to suit client requirements.  The programmes are tailored from an extensive activity list to match the client’s training needs and the fitness and ability of participants.  All exercises are supervised by trained and qualified staff who provides expert tuition.

Programmes are normally arranged for between one and seven days duration with three-day, five-day and weekend events proving the most popular.

The only limitations to a programme are your budget and our imagination.
